タニャラック・ミーチュマナは、現在、チェンマイ大学芸術学部にて博士課程（芸術・デザイン専攻）に在籍、同大学芸術学部で視覚芸術の修士号を取得し、キングモンクット工科大学ラートクラバン校にて視覚芸術（絵画）の学士号を取得。彼女の芸術活動は、パフォーマンス・アート、絵画、イラストレーション、コンセプチュアル・アートなど多岐にわたる。現代美術アーティストとして、中国やフィリピンをはじめとする国際舞台で作品を発表しており、継続的にパフォーマンス・アート作品を制作。彼女は、女性が直面する内面的および外的な暴力という問題に取り組む。今日においても、あらゆるジェンダーが平等であるかのように見受けられるが、タイ社会や世界各地の特定の文脈においては、依然として深刻な問題が存在する。女性の権利はますます侵害されており、彼女の作品は、ジェンダーを問わず、他者の身体を尊重し、その尊厳を重んじる重要性を提示する。
